COMPANY HISTORY
Commercial Investment Properties has managed residential investment real estate for nearly 30 years and is one of Nebraska's leaders in property management. Our services include: project development, asset management, and residential and commercial leasing.
Commercial Investment Properties opened its’ doors in 1981 as a fee management company with a focus on small multi-family housing properties. By the late 80’s, CIP had grown to incorporate nearly 3,000 units of small multi-family apartments throughout Lincoln. That focus had shifted again by 1992 to include development and ownership, rather than just management of properties. The newly transformed focus of the company, along with the hard work and determination of CIP employees, and the guidance of the CIP Leadership Team has parlayed Commercial Investment Properties into one of the largest and most diverse property development and management companies in the Midwest.
Today, Commercial Investment Properties manages over 4,300 multi-family housing units in Lincoln, Omaha, and Alliance, Nebraska, as well as over 200,000 square feet of commercial real estate and an extended stay hotel with 109 units. We look forward to future endeavors and expanding the diversity of the CIP portfolio.
